About

Hey, I'm Dani! I'm a Miami-born Gainesville-based potter making work out of a small home setup. And I'm so grateful you're here.

While still learning the lifelong art of ceramics, I hope to provide a variety of functional work, made with care, to make everyday moments a little more special.

AguaDulce is a reflection of my first-hand experience of the world, translated into clay. My hope is that each piece evokes a sense of familiarity and groundedness, and that others can come to appreciate the alchemy of elements needed to produce a single ceramic form.

The name AguaDulce translated means "sweet water", and this is embodied in Cuban espresso. Growing up in Miami, coladas were shared with family and strangers alike--it's made for sharing, it's rooted in community and bringing people together.

That’s the same feeling, the feeling of familiarity and belonging, that clay brings me. The reason behind the brand name, and the inspiration behind all that you see here.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you find something you love.
